With over 10 years of experience in developing and executing marketing initiatives while holding positions at international marketing and investment firms, Josh brings a strong theoretical & practical background in Marketing & Business Development to Fortress Real Developments.
Josh is a passionate and strategic thinker with a determination to execute flawlessly. Prior to joining Fortress, he worked at Youthography, a third party youth marketing firm based in Toronto as a Promotions Manager on various accounts including Adidas, Puma, Bubbilicious and Bic.
Josh’s most recent position as Regional Director of Sales, Eastern Canada was with Walton International Group, a leader in North American land based real estate and development investments. In this role Josh was responsible for a considerable amount of business development as it was his role to educate investment advisors on the sale and distribution of Walton’s investment products. In less than 2 years, Josh and his team raised over $120 million with IIROC member firms alone and further grew the retail sales network amongst financial advisors.
Josh joined the Fortress Real Developments team in the summer of 2012 as the Senior VP of Marketing and Communications. With his experience in real estate investments and institutional sales, Josh is spearheading growth and new investment product design at Fortress. Both mortgage and securities licensed, Josh handles many of the public speaking engagements on behalf of the Fortress executive team. He communicates regularly with clients and advisors and was recently quoted heavily in Mortgage Broker news in a feature about syndicate mortgages.
Josh attended Georgian College, Brock University and carries several certificates from the Canadian Securities Institute.
